Saxon Energy Services Inc. Saxon is currently seeking experienced land drilling Rig Electricians for its International Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the electrical systems, trouble shoot power systems and provide technical services related to the rig operations. This is not an offshore position.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:


* ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rig technology, hydraulics, computer systems, and electronic systems
* Maintaining this equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards thus providing a rig maintained at a high operational and reliable standard
* Planning and execution of maintenance and repair work as required to all systems, equipment and miscellaneous areas to have minimal or no effect on normal operations
* Ensure sufficient levels of materials and supplies are maintained on board for any repairs or routine maintenance; requisition materials, supplies and maintain electrical inventory
* Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures


The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a combination of education and / or experience, Working knowledge of AC Variable Frequency Drives, SCR drives, generator controls, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
