Senior Accountant - Gold Mining Company

Do you have solid full-cycle accounting, foreign exchange consolidations, and financial analysis experience? Our publicly-traded mining client has an immediate need for a hands-on Senior Accountant to take on a 12-16 month assignment. The Senior Accountant will prepare and provide timely, accurate reporting, consolidated financial statements/analysis, and all statutory regulatory filings and management reports for the company's various legal entities. As well, the Senior Accountant will prepare supporting analysis, and work closely with the tax group, mine controllers and internal/external auditors. Experience: To be considered for this role, you will be a designated accountant (CA/CGA/CMA) with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Mining industry experience and Spanish skills would be a big asset. You have strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP, and experience using SAP and Khalix software. A solid communicator, both written and verbal, you are a hands-on individual who takes initiative to make improvements along the way, and enjoys a team environment.
